Storage

Your information is stored securely with appropriate safeguards.

Retention

Enquiries not leading to counselling are normally deleted within six months. Counselling records are generally retained for seven years after therapy ends unless a longer period is legally required.

Sharing

Information remains confidential unless you consent, disclosure is legally required, there is a serious risk of harm, or safeguarding/court obligations apply. Anonymous discussion with a professional supervisor may occur in line with ethical practice.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, erasure where appropriate, restriction, object to processing in certain circumstances, and withdraw consent where applicable.
